Change can be scary, and change can be fun! One thing that is certain is that change is a constant in life. Often we have to make the decision whether we are going to watch from the sidelines or are we going to jump in and run with it! Today I am running with it! I started blogging at TeamFitMommy about three years ago.It began as a way to keep myself accountable while I was losing the baby weight from having two children back to back. My goal was to share how I was losing weight as a new mom. I rebranded to FitFaith Life about a year ago. I realized that although I will always be a mom, my fitness journey was about so much more. It was really about who I was becoming as a person, not just who I was as a mom. I realized that I have love for fitness and have decided that I would use my God given gift as an educator to empower others who want to live their best lives too!
FitFaith Life Fitness is my new endeavor to share my workouts and will eventually become my business site when I complete my personal trainer certificate. As a follower, you can expect to see videos and graphics to help you incorporate more exercise into your life.
My personal philosophy for fitness would fall into the category of “Functional Fitness”. Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports. While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability. I believe that the stronger you are the better life you can lead.
